Beaver Tailwater 8/23/2009

Took the kayak down to the tailwater yesterday. Fishing was a little slow but i was able to catch a few nice ones. Tan and Blue dun midges worked best for me. Early in the morning we had no drift flow what so ever and i think that might have affected at least my fishing. About 10:30 it picked up. Tons of fish are in the tailwater right now due to the stocking. Lots of people were yesterday but i think it also had to do with parker being closed for construction. does anyone know when they plan to be finished with construction ?
