Crappie Report 9/1

Went up to Stockton Yesterday. Fished for bass till noon Then in next 2 hours had 2 limits of nice Crappie. Threw a couple 14 inchers back and weighed the next 7 biggest (7.2LBS). Nice to catch some quality fish. Caught on jigs and grubs.

Congrats on the catch. Do you fish brush piles or standing timber? How did the bass fishing go? Was thinking about heading that way on Monday.

Sounds like some nice fish! The binman and I might be headed out tomorrow or friday to take his new ride we got last tuesday. The fish deep still I guess. We will give the jigs a try or some plastic tubes.

The bass were slow and 25 foot plus deep. Crappie 15 to 25 foot by timber.

They are not that deep.How is Big fishes new boat? I'll have to give him a call.
