Members goggleeyes Posted September 3, 2009 Members Posted September 3, 2009 Is anybody fishing the power site dam spillway and doing any good this time of year?
Sam Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 No answers, so I guess nobody here knows. I sure don't. Every time I drive over the bridge I see a few rigs parked at River Run. White bass are real active now in the lake, and I'd think there oughta be some in that cool running water below the dam, but I haven't gone to find out.
Wayne SW/MO Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Generally when its normal, as it is now, there isn't a lot of activity other than small trout, unless the water is running. If they are generating at TR, then a few hours after the water will be running at Powersite. It always seems to take about 4 hours for the water to reach the Taney dam. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
