I'd like to in on some of that action. John Killinger Its hit and miss. We got about 8 inches of rain and the lake came up up a foot or so. I went today with no luck. I heard they were catching a few around old hwy 25. I fish cove creek and its dead. The shad moved back out in the lake when the rain started last week.. I'm gonna start looking somewhere else for them this week.
Cody Smith Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Just wondering if the Hybrids have started to bust bait on the surface of the water yet? I'd like to in on some of that action. John Killinger They have started however like cat said the water levels rising scattered them out a bit. There is still a TON of bait on the main lake and in select creeks. Just yesterday we saw fantastic action on all species. Walleye, Hybrids, Whites, Kentuckies, LM and some smallies where boated and schooling with these bait fish. We caught them in the main basin as well as back in some of the creeks. Now is a great time to be on the water. I will be posting a more detailed report here shortly that will go into much more detail on our current lake conditions~ Cody S.
