I'm Back

Logged into this site last year while reseaching trips for 2008 and 2009. Was looking towards Missouri for a Spring trip of some sort. We wound up backpacking the Wind River Wilderness Area in Wyoming and two weeks fishing the Kenai Penn in Alaska. You can see our trips at MarkandChrisLundin.com, on the fishing page. If you want to do either of these trips let me know and I will give you all the information we gathered.

Earlier this year Chris had an accident resulting in a brain injury. 7 months and he is working on being able to walk unsupported. I am still looking to do a Spring trip and decided I would be safest with a float. That puts him outdoors, fishing, but without the hiking. I think the outdoors is the best therapy.

Chris is located in Northern Texas, while I am in Michigan. My thoughts are I can meet him in Missouri. Did some reading and researching and have pretty much settled on the 11 Point. Seems like a nice sized stream with varied water. We will mostly be flyfishing, but may spinner fish, depending on Chris strength at the time.

I believe your trout season starts in March. I was thinking more towards the end of April, maybe early May to let the weather warm up a bit. Just looking for some advice.....thanks in advance.
