Fishing Report for Lake Taneycomo

Fishing report:

Tuesday, April 18, 2006 - Arrived late, fished from the dock at Lilleys’ Landing for about 2 hours. We caught 2 rainbows about 12 inches each.

Wednesday, April 19, 2006 - We fished from a boat down stream by the power lines and Monkey Island. The strikes were very light and we probably missed a few fish. However we both caught our limit of 4 rainbows, all about 12 inches.

Thursday, April 20, 2006 - We fished from the dock at Lilleys’ Landing most of the day. Caught several small rainbows and few nice ones, the largest was about 16 inches.

Each day we tried several different baits, what seemed to work the best was lemon twist power bait, floating 3 to 4 feet from the bottom.

We had a great fishing trip and we look forward to our next visit to Lilleys’ Landing on Lake Taneycomo.
