Hogfan Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 We're heading up to Truman this coming Thursday for the Joe Bass Team Classic on Saturday and Sunday and was wondering what the lake conditions were like. Water temp, clarity, level, ect. We haven't been up there since last October and I'm assuming with all the rain we got lately that the lake is up and probably going to stay there. Any information provided will be much appreciated.
shaker Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 Lake is 9' high and falling, upper end very muddy and lots of trash, lower end clearer but starting to muddy up, you'll probably be dealing with lake current. Probably be back down Tuesday or Webnesday and post a new report.

We're taking off from Bucksaw both days, but we planned on fishing the lower end even before all of the rain. Do you think the trash is still going to be pretty thick come this weekend? Just wondering how difficult it will be navigating our way out of there.
shaker Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Don't think so, the day I was there the Osage had a lot more trash than the Grand arm did, they had a lot more rain over that way. Still got to be carefull keep a close watch ahead never know when a floater is lurking out there especially now that the corps is pulling some water.
Hogfan Posted October 20, 2009 Author Posted October 20, 2009 Thanks for all the information Shaker....know what you mean about those lurkers!
