anybody catching any crappie right now. i have not been in a while and would like to know where to start

The crappie are starting to move to the winter pattern. Find cedars and fish 10' down to the bottom using black/chart jigs and blue/white. Trees on the ledges are the best. The guys that have been lately have loaded the boat with their limits in 1-2 hrs.

cool does current have any effect on the fish this time of year and what size of jig heads

On Truman the current generally helps the bite. Normally I vertical jig cedars and standing timber on Truman, for this method I prefer 1/8th ounce jig head. However as long as current isn't real strong any size should work.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
