Murdoc Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Well I loaded up the family Friday afternoon and headed down to RR for the weekend. It was pretty cold Friday evening and the camp fire felt great. We cooked hot dogs and the girls really enjoyed it. The park was full up. Lots of the big RV's and big campers. Saturday morning my brother and I got up and headed out to fish. The river was still rolling pretty well and had a lot of stain to it. I'm a sight fisherman so I really didn't want to fight the river. There was quite a few people fishing and bundled up!! I decited to walk back to the trailer and get my girls and have some breakfast at the little place in the private campground up Dry Creek. Good stuff. After breakfast we went hiking!!! MAN what a paint brush God has!! The trees were as beautiful as I've seen them in years. The temp went up nicely and we had so much fun on the hike!! After the hiking we decited to go to Bubba's in Eureka Springs! MAN what great BBQ!!!! After a full belly it was time to go ghost hunting at the Cresent Hotel! We didn't see any ghosts but we had a blast looking!!! Wonderful weekend!!!!!! OH YEA! I didn't catch one fish but had one of the best weekends I've ever had at Roaring River!!!!
