I don't hunt ducks, but was kind of wondering about that, too. We sure saw a lot of ducks out there last weekend. Big rafts of them on the main lake.

I was there two weeks ago and saw several wood ducks, a lot of geese, a few mallards and some odd balls around the southwest corner of Deer Island. Dont know if that is open for hunting or not, but they were there. Also saw 4 does swim from the island to the north towards the mouth of Prairie Creek, would have been an interesting collision in a boat.

There was a big raft in front of Ventris Hollow on the main lake, and another basically in front of Rocky Branch marina. We were fishing down some of the arms just to the dam side of Rocky Branch marina and had ducks whistling by several times.
