slider Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Went to the woods tonight and saw deer soon as I got there had a foked horn come under the tree, didnt get a shot. About 5 minutes and I heard a deer behind me again, same foked horn ran across the food plot again no shot. About 5 minutes later heard deer behind me fore the third time looked and it was a 5 point, walked right where the first deer came under the tree turned around and went back the way he came again no shot. About 10 minutes saw deer legs under the ceders across from my stand he steped out same 5 point that had been under my tree before, he stoped at about 20 yards and I took the shot he ran right under the tree and went about 60 yards and went down. When we were loading him I noticed the spots on his back, has anyone ever seen a buck with spots? Slider DONT EVER GIVE UP MOSES WAS A BASKET CASE ONCE!
Hogfan Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Nice job slider. Never seen the spots like that before, but would be interested to find out what causes them. My wife got her first deer with her bow this weekend and I'm going to try to post some pics tomorrow.

taxidermist Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Could be a this years deer with spots? Looks like a bit of fallow deer, they should not cross but may have if one was released at some point. That is certainly not a piebald! Nice deer hope you have the hide tanned.
