MaxDrown Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 We're fishing the Little Piney Creek this Saturday. This is our first trip to Little Piney Creek. The water seems to be falling fast. Any last minute suggestions on having a successful trip? -- Max Drown

Members BobK Posted November 3, 2009 Members Posted November 3, 2009 The water will be fine Saturday, probably right at the perfect level for wild trout. The water conditions should make the fish pretty easy to approach. Nymphs fished deep will be your best bet now. Hare's Ear, Pheasant Tail, and Princes #16 are about all you need. Anything without a beadhead is relatively useless this time of year in my opinion. Also bring some San Juans, Woolly Buggers, and copper johns in case the water is more off-color than expected. Good luck. Well stated You ain't a live'n if your not a fish'n
