Members ChicagoBass Posted November 3, 2009 Members Posted November 3, 2009 Hi, I am traveling from north of Chicago and will be in Branson this weekend for some family business. My wife is giving me time off for a good behavior to let me go fishing for the day on Saturday. (11/7/09) . I am looking for someone who would like to go fishing on their boat, on Table Rock (or where ever). I am not looking for a guided service where I pay a few hundred bucks. Just looking to get out and fish instead of standing by the shore all day. I usually fish for large mouth bass up in the local clubs here but open to whatever the area offers. I am open all day so early morning to whenever. I am flexible. I can throw in some cash for gas and launching fees as well. To see that I a not some psycho-patch, you can look me up on Facebook (Sean Gillette - Round Lake, IL) If you are interested, please email me back at razorsparty@yahoo.com Thank you! Look forward to the weekend already. Sean PS I will bring my own gear.
Members ChicagoBass Posted November 5, 2009 Author Members Posted November 5, 2009 Bueller, Bueller, Bueller.... <knock> <knock> <knock> ...is this thing on? I was going to go with Plan B but the two places as I was going to rent a boat from, found out that I need to be staying at their resort. Any other boat rental suggestions. I know one was Indian Point resort. I can't recall the other one. Thanks
MOBass Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Tough time of year. Lot's of folks thinking more deer woods than lake. Also been a little tougher as of late and that culls the herd further. Have you tried State Park Marina? Gage's? Those are the only two that come to mind, but I don't know if they are open this time of year. Wish I could offer some more help. I am floundering on coming down Sunday. May go hit Taney and see how the high water is treating things. May get humble on the rock. May rake leaves and wait for the fish and water to settle down.
troutgnat Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 I launched out of Gages (Long Creek) Marina yesterday and I can tell you the ramp is open anyway. Darren Sadler "Fishing is an Education...Often the fish 'school' me, yet I do not complain. I just keep going to class!"
Members ChicagoBass Posted November 5, 2009 Author Members Posted November 5, 2009 Thanks guys.... I will check out those places. Worse case scenario, I am casting near the bridge all day or may try the state parks. Just want to beat the water all day, no matter the conditions. (mental thing) I just recently fished in a club tournament in southern Wisconsin. It was 28 degrees when we started at 7am. I hear its going to be 70 down there on Saturday. I will have to find my sun screen! Thanks again.
