Brian Wise Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 We are finally below 1000cfs...which we have only seen once in the last month and that was for about 4 days. The water is seriously beautiful right now with great color, and fishing well. Fishing over the last couple of months with the water levels looking like a seriously sweet roller coaster has been, well, up and down--feast or famine. With water levels getting more stable so should the fishing. Streamers have been doing well, even on those bluebird sky days we are still getting some great takes on some of those big nasties. But all in all, you guessed it, fishing DEEP has been the way to go for the most steady bite. I think the main thing has been looooong drifts with extra weight getting the fly(s) down quickly and staying down there (drifting has been really good.) Rubber-Legs, San Juans, Psycho Princes, Hare's Ears, and Flashback PT's have been doing very well. Brian My Youtube Channel
