brownieman Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 I know Cricket commented the other day about his gratitude to members on here. I would like to mirror his comments, having met a few of you is great...just the time I spend reading comments and varied opinions, techniques, sometimes real varied, lol...I enjoy this site and appreciate a place to ramble on sometimes. It's a good site with good people and I feel none of us are too old to learn. This site is well managed and a wealth of information, very handy. thanks My friends say I'm a douche bag ?? KCRIVERRAT Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 Brownieman... floated the Current many times, but it's been awhile. I remember parking my canoe in the middle of Cave Spring and everone on the trip caught their limit of goggleye. They were lined up around the spring and when they caught a fish would wing it to me, then I'd bait their hook for 'em. It was September and there were six of us I think. Had a stringer for everyone and the pic we took when we were done looked like a bunch of bananas! As I understand it now... NO FISHING in the springs. Wasn't that way back then. Been fishing the Jacks Fork every year for quite a few years now. Would love to drag Chief and Buzz down there and have a good ol' time next year! Anyone else for that matter. What do you think? June... or anytime next summer? Maybe March or April would work too... it'd be a good time I know! I've got my favorite places to stay down there.
