Members kayaker Posted November 20, 2009 Members Posted November 20, 2009 Well, I had already scheduled some vacation time for the second weekend in December for a pheasant hunt in Iowa, but that trip just got cancelled. I need to find some alternative plans and this nice weather in Kansas City is giving me the fishing bug. If the weather would be nice enough that weekend I am thinking about doing a winter time float and try some fishing. Does the Elk fish very well in December if the weather is fairly mild? Has anyone been fishing lately?
Members redfish Posted November 20, 2009 Members Posted November 20, 2009 When we float in the winter, we usually don't fish. We float and cook. Wackyworm and myself have been fishing on the Litttle Sugar and it has been fantastic. We've been using tubes and wackys. There have been a lot of largemouths caught, a few smallies and some brim. In December though I'm not sure. Have a good float!!!
