I know some of you die hards have been out there despite the cold temperatures-- In fact, I intend to make a trip down

about Thursday and Friday this week if it looks like the daytime temp will bust 40. What I want to know is how the fishin' and the catchin' have been lately. I gather the crappie catchin' should be good about now. What about bass? Are the wallies roaming deep water now? Tell me your stories-- I love to hear the when, where and how, and how much for Stockton.

Thanking you in advance--

Hey, Went yesterday and yes it was cold. Put in at Old SP and fished the main lake points and cuts just off the main lake. Two shorts on a stick bait and one keeper on a 3/4 oz jig 25 feet and that was it, all LM. Fished from 7am to 5pm. Had a little sun at the end of the day, thought it may fire things up ,..but no go! Water was 44 and mostly clear. Good luck..!

I think the crappie fishing is pretty fair right now have seen a couple guys pull some eye's out while jigging for crappie. I have not been bass fishing at all lately so can't help you there but I imagine if you get a stick bait bite they should be decent fish. I am going Thurs. but don't know where yet we might head to T Rock. Good Luck
