fishgypsy Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Hey everyone, I'm Tom, just found the site a couple days ago and figured I should join. I'm an avid fly angler, fly tier, and have built some of my own rods. I also enjoy spinfishing on occasion, hunting turkeys, deer, ducks, and small game. I hope to learn a lot, and to share some of the things I've learned as an outdoorsman. DaddyO Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 "Sastipe and welcome, stranger." "SASTIPE." Those who are not children of the blessed Sainte Sara might ponder upon the significance...but it is merely an ancient gypsy greeting which means "Good Luck and Good Health." FishinCricket Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Funny, I almost greeted the Gypsy with "Namaste", but thought better of it... cricket.c21.com
DaddyO Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 "Namaste"? Isn't that Hindi? DaddyO We all make decisions; but, in the end, our decisions make us.
