Capps Creek Was Good Today

Had a good day on Capps, went to the lower bridge and walked upstream from there, made it to the big hole a 1/4 above the bridge and there were

people comming down the creek so I went back to the car, but caught some nice fish, one nice litte brown and 6 rainbows, all about average

12-14" all in good shape and all fought very well.

I also seen one of the saber toothed frogs, that are known in that area

Tim, isn't that a fun little creek? I enjoyed fishing it and am anxious to get back.

I agree with you about those saber toothed frogs, they can be treacherous.

Here is the one I got, they are all over e-bay, I'm sure they are for sale other places.

That frog wouldn't move and it showed me it's fangs once, but it was so fast I couldn't

get a pic of the fangs

Tim .... I see the good ol' apricot supreme was the ticket. Those saber toothed frogs at Capps are pretty freaky but nothing like those giant attack anacondas at Crane. PC

PC. we need to hit Capps soon. Wade down to Shoal and fish up to the foot bridge in the park...sounds like fun.
