Members Rick F Posted May 11, 2006 Members Posted May 11, 2006 I hope I am not stepping on toes here but since Missouri is known for trout fishing I thought I would throw this in. Just read in the paper this morning that a gentleman broke the state record for brown trout. 4th time since '99 it has happened. It was caught in Lake Michigan in Indiana waters in April. Measurements 29.35 pounds 3.35 feet in length and was caught on a Smithwick Rogue.

Measurements 29.35 pounds 3.35 feet in length and was caught on a Smithwick Rogue. Had to look it up on the net. He caught it trolling w/ downriggers, big lake gear, etc. I always wondered what kind of fish someone could bring up around Forsythe fishing like this. “Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.” — Henry David Thoreau Visit my web site @ webfreeman.com for information on freelance web design.
mhall02 Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 I've wondered the same thing, didn't Arkansas Fish and Game put Lake Trout in BS as well?
