Nighthawk Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Hit the creek at between 8 and 9. Buddy got three trailing a green and red scud downstream, real small fish. I wanted to break in my new custom bamboo with a vintage streamer or wet fly pattern and got skunked. Lot of strikes but no hookups. Got to get a fish somehow before the end of the month to keep my 7 year streak of a fish a month on a flyrod intact.
Forsythian Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 I fished the upper access today from about 10 - 1. This was my first time, so I explored more than I fished. I had couple of takes on an olive bugger, but nothing to hand. Beautiful creek, no doubt about it. Cenosillicaphobiac
Terry Beeson Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 If you would use something besides that bream pole you call a "bamboo fly rod" to fish with, you'd get that fish... Have fun at RR today!!!
