Fishing Tonight

A week and a half ago I posted I was going fishing tonight...

So I will be there around 9pm or 9:30..

Let me know if anyone wants to join me tonight...

well its 20 till 8... and Im on may way to the lake...

Here is the fishing from last night.. May 12, 2006...

I did get to the lake about 9pm..

water was off.. but looked higher then normal,

Started off around chute 2 throw a egg sucking leech, caught 7 within about 30 minutes. Lots of misses.. then I put on a olive pine squirrel sculpin (unweighted).. picked up about 10 more fish.. then I made my way down toward the big hole... started just below the rebar with the sculpin.. after about 20 some cast a very few strikes, I switched again.. to a beaded white wolly.. fished cast was a 19 inch brown.. and the third cast was a 17 3/4 brown... these were the only 2 nice fish of the night... I did end up catching maybe 40 fish last night in the 10-16in range..

I put on the "new bug" and the were hitting the glowing float.. so I put on a top water fly.. and caught a few more fish on the way back up to the car... I left the lake around 12:30 am.... all in all a really good night!!

I think I saw a light from someone else last night but couldnt tell if he was catching fish or not.. I only seen his light on maybe 3 times..
