BolivarBasser Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 I'm in the market for a fish finder. I've never owned one. It's going on a 14' jonboat. First off, is there a difference between a depth finder and a fish finder? Second, I've been looking at the Humminbird piranhamax 210. Has anyone had any experience with this? I know Hbird is a good brand, one of the leaders. Third, if anyone has any suggestions for economical models that I can look for, that'd be great. I'm not looking to spend much money, I just want something that will tell me the depth and be able to identify and find cover, structure, and bottom composition. Thanks guys. Justin
