A buddy and I put in at K-Dock Saturday morning to do a little fishing. It was nice to get on the water again. This nasty weather has kept us off the water for 3 weeks. We fished bluff ends and channels swings with stick baits and jigs mostly. We caught 13 bass with 3 of those being keepers and we caught 3 walleye. The pattern of the day was definately the stick bait with a long pause. When the bass would hit you would either feel a slight tick or when you would go to jerk the bait they would just be there. The walleye on the other hand were very aggressive. They would just about rip the rod out of your hand when they would hit. All in all it was a good day and it was nice to get out on the water. Here is a picture of Kenny with a couple of the walleye we brought home.

You don't hear that every day.

Very nice report.
