Kansas Fly Fisher Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Nice fish! Born to Fish, Forced to Work KSMEDIC.COM
Guest flyfishBDS Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 There are some nice browns about, Bryce picked up a pretty 16 1/2" fish on a midge in a shallow run further down stream the other night Though I reckon any fish on dry is worth two on a nymph Nice work. I actually saw some trico spinners on the river the other evening too. There have been great mayfly (cahill and trico/caenid) hatches on the lake. not sure if they are getting blow over the top or hatching our from further downstreaam. either way it works
