I have seen a few up in the river on the graph. I know that a few are starting to come in to the department's check station. They are definitely not in full swing yet. A guy could go down river from say, Port Arthur to Three Fingers and probably do some good right now. Watch your graph on the inside channel bends and look for them right on the roll-off between the flat and the channel. They might be as shallow as 15' or as deep as 35' Have an assortment of weights between 6-12 oz. and it will help you control your depth.

Don't forget it's catch and release only on Monday and Fridays and from 60 hwy bridge, North to the KS. state line is a refuge-No snagging allowed.

Is it correct that the 'no snagging refuge' is only on the Spring River, but snagging is still allowed on the Neosho from Twin Bridges up to the state line?

yep. Sorry, I see that I left that out. The refuge is only on the Spring River side. Too bad...the Cayuga piers hole was a good one to snag them out of.

I just talked to the game warden over there in Ottawa county and you can still fish on the neosho it was just the spring that is closed from twin bridges. He said they were catching a couple in the park at miami but now the melted snow has pushed them back. He said with this rain that should bring them back. I am gonna head over there the saturday before easter should be good by then with all the warm weather we are supposed to have.
