Hotdawg Guide Service Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 I was on the lake two days this last week and the cold weather returned for one day. On the plus side the surface temp has warmed a little and is now in the 49-50 degree range. The problem is it is only in the top 1-2 feet. The best baits for me are still Rattlin Rogues and soft plastic. With most fish in the 5- 15 foot depth range and close to some kind of cover. The weather is supposed to start warming on tuesday again with highs in the 60's and lows in the mid 40's. South winds will help to start a warming trend. I have seen several pictures of stripers in the 25 class at or near dark on stickbaits also.Good luck Hotdawg!! Hot Dawg Guide Service
