Members Fat Sucker Posted March 19, 2010 Members Posted March 19, 2010 Hello, I'm heading down the last weekend in March and would like to try some Walleye fishing. I've been to Stockton before but have not targeted Walleye specifically. I have heard that jigs or grubs tipped with minnows work well. Can you let me know what size jighead you typically use down there? Also what brands and color jigs and grubs typically work best? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I read this forum a lot and find it very informative. Thanks!
Stockton Lake Guide Service Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 size of the jig head really depends on the wind etc. I like to use smaller jig heads 1/8 oz or 1/4 oz. something with chartruese/red/or someithing bright works best.
