Headed to Montauk for 9 days of fishing. Will be staying at Eagles Park slot 3+4. We have friends staying in loop 4 in the park so will be one of those places enjoying some good socializing. If anyone is also going look me up and say Hi! You cant miss me in my silver Ram 2500 quad cab with trout magnets on hood and doors lol.

if the water is up ....which it is at 1.82 gage height and 186 discharge....i know this is on the high side but i dont know what is too high...but if its fishable i would use streams

186 is a bit high, but definitely fishable.

We had two days of rain but weathered them fine. Caught lots of fish. Flies that produced were chartreuse copper john, flour. orange san juan worm, pheasant tail nymph, soft hackles stripped. Dry flies were crackleback and deer hair caddis. Sorry for the delay on reporting but been busy at work since I got back. The river was up and slightly murky, I usually have great luck on zebra midges in a variety of colors but didnt with the murky water. Had a great time.
