Members beamedik Posted April 3, 2010 Members Posted April 3, 2010 hope everyone that was down was safe if there were storms. we are going down the 5-8, and looks to be rainy and humid. we will be in loop 4 with fat girl basset.
hfdhoosier Posted April 5, 2010 Author Posted April 5, 2010 We had two days of rain but weathered them fine. Caught lots of fish. Flies that produced were chartreuse copper john, flour. orange san juan worm, pheasant tail nymph, soft hackles stripped. Dry flies were crackleback and deer hair caddis. Sorry for the delay on reporting but been busy at work since I got back. The river was up and slightly murky, I usually have great luck on zebra midges in a variety of colors but didnt with the murky water. Had a great time.
