Members Jeff Giffin Posted March 30, 2010 Members Posted March 30, 2010 Hey has anybody been fishing around Kimberling City or down around cow creek lately? wanted to know water temps if anybody has been down there lately oh and if the fishing has been good at all.
Members Golf Pro Posted March 31, 2010 Members Posted March 31, 2010 As of Sunday the water temp. there was around 45 to 46 (sure it is warmer now). To me it is the toughest area on the lake right now.
Members fish4fun Posted March 31, 2010 Members Posted March 31, 2010 Monday from Point 5 to the dam. Water 47-50 degrees, visibility 10 ft. Fishing was tough.
focused fishing Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 The water is 48 - 50 depending on which side of the lake you are on (north side is warmer with the south wind) The bite is still pretty tough, it would be worth the run to head to the lower James and some colored water, much better bite on stickbaits, grubs, wiggle warts and jigs. Water temps should be in the lower to mid 50's by the weekend.
