catman Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Tim, how's the water today? I was born at night, but not last night. Odds are with the prepared...
Zack Hoyt Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Curious as well. I will be up but wasnt planning on fishing a ton. If you see a big blue drift boat behind an Outback......I am somewhere close. Zack Hoyt OAF Contributor Flies, Lies, and Other Diversions
rps Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Drove through the park on the way to Cassville this afternoon. Water looked in great shape there and at the bridge where 86 crosses it. Flow but no evidence of mud.
timsfly Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Roaring River is still up a foot and clearing, not muddy it has that sort of greenish look to it right now, fishing has been good. Nymphs like copper johns and pheasant tails are good right now, san juan worms and glo-balls are good also. Good dry fly fishing caddis, blue wing olives, tricos in the mornings and afternoons, and still some good fish being caught on woolybuggers. Zack Hoyt Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Had a very nice fish caught on a woolie this afternoon by a little guy I was helping. Great BWO coming off around 3pm. Water was up a tad but very good. Lots of fish around. Zack Hoyt OAF Contributor Flies, Lies, and Other Diversions
