Springfield Lake In The Wind Tunnel.

I fished a little over the weekend on the Lake, and managed to catch a good number of pre-spawn male Bass, mostly on spinnerbaits near shoreline cover. The wind made it very difficult to maintain any kind of control of the canoe, as you could imagine. No pictures. Just too windy!

are you putting in under the freeway or do you go to the park?

I'm thinking of trying the park, by the clubhouse Fri, but the cold front is coming.

i tried for a few hours from the piers on the south side until the large population showed up. one guy threw his minow net right next to me, so i gave up trying. There's always a collection of rude and grungy looking people there

I usually put in at the ramp under 65. There's plenty of rude and scruffy people that use the ramp, too!

Does the nature center have a lake map? Or is there one online somewhere that you guys know of? Thanks BRBF
