They are pulling 32,000 cfs lake is 2 ft high. Most of the lake is stained right now. They should shut down the water anytime. The lake is dropping about 6 inches a day. Kinda depends on how much we get tonite. Right now the crappie in the mid to upper grand are half-way back in the creeks 8 to 12 foot deep. there are starting to catch some males moving into the bank late in the day. they are catching alot of crappie right now. Thats all i can help with today wait and see what the rains do tonight. good luck

Made it down Friday the cold front really slowed things down, got a late start and didn't stay too long partner and myself caught 10 seemed to be really scattered just one hear and there but nice size. Started out about 60* water and by the middle of the afternoon found some 65* back in a creek out of the wind. Didn't catch any close to the banks, by next week things should really start happening.

My partner and self went again today got another late start but managed to catch 25 nice ones. They are starting to move up but were not acutally on the banks yet, close and I'm sure that in some parts of the lake they are already there. Most of the fish we caught were males with a couple of the largest fish being females. The bite just died about noon we fished a couple more hours without much luck loaded up and drove home. 1/16 oz. roadrunners with a black and chartuese tube seemed to be the best bait today, with the major cold front due in Friday and Saturday it will probably slow the fishing down but they are there just may have to work a little harder to catch some. Good Luck!
