Went past High Point caught 7 keeper crappie in 10 foot of water north banks. It got hot and the bite slowed. Lots of small bass.

I'm going in the morning. Anybody been using those slab buster plastic baits? Just another latest & greatest or what?

I caught a few on a watermelon unbrella tube but I did better with a plain minnow. Let me know if the slab busters work for you I might be interested.

I'll let you know. I got 1 pkg. of that brand in purple/chart. and found some Larew (slab slayer, same pour) electric chicken @ FF. It'll be a showdown!

The results are in...... took a limit of crappie only a couple on the purp/chartruese the rest came on the electric chicken. Good bait. I left and the fish were still bitin.

Gotta go clean some fish.
