Members jnorman Posted April 16, 2010 Members Posted April 16, 2010 Well I was planning on coming down in the morning, but I see that they almost completely shut the generators down this morning. If they stay off, I'm guessing it is going to be pretty slow tomorrow. Has anybody been out today and have a report? The best time to fish is when it's raining . . . and when it's not!
emjay Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Even with the water low the fishing has been good. Fish the north side. Anything with a little chartruese should be the ticket
Kyle Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Does anybody ever use a large 4-5 inch sassy shad for hybrids and run a crappie jig off the back like a dropper 8-10 inches to keep things interesting in between trying to catch the big boys? Seems like it would work to me. Even, if you are catching little fish you are more likely to stay our there casting than if you are catching no fish.
