Members crawfly Posted April 20, 2010 Members Posted April 20, 2010 Decided to water test the fish skulls. Verdict is smallies like 'em and I like castin 'em. The small ones that is, the med. not so much. Although the 6 wgt. will lob the med. an 8 will cast it much better. The main river flow has pretty well cleared out from the recent high water and it's all stacked on the inside corner leading into the ledgerock holes. I actually like it better.

Members crawfly Posted April 22, 2010 Author Members Posted April 22, 2010 sorry for my ignorance, but what is fish skulls? smallies have to be released until May 23rd right? For your first question ... http://ozarkanglers.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=22564 For the second question ..... No, smallies should be released 365 days a year. It should be enough for anyone to catch one. Let it swim! They're loaded with worms & toxins anyhow. That's why I don't even hold them for pics. Well, that and no reason to ruin a good pic by having me in it.
