Thom Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 I think I may head to Dardenne Creek this weekend to check it out. I was going to start at Busch # 33 and head west hoping to find some good spots. Be sure that you put on plenty of deep woods off and coat your socks well with it. The ticks are horrendous there and anlywhere near Busch wildlife this time of year. I walked the bank this spring before the weeds and ticks got a hold on the area around the trail. Lots of weeds to pass through even going from the trail at lake 33 to the creek bank. It looks real fishy ... Lots of high eroded banks at the side but the stream itself is full of gravel shoals and deeper holes which clear up quickly. Might be a little muddy now though due to the recent heavy rains. Let us know what you found. Thom Harvengt

My buddy on the other hand had tons of them on him. Had some pretty good luck there. Had 2 nice bass one was 19.5" and the other 14". Had a few blue gill too. Little muddy but was fun. We walked by 40 and someone was already under the bridge so we walked the opposite way.
