Needing Info

I don't want to clutter this forum, but Dad and I are headed to lake O or Truman next weekend. I know some of you guys head up there often. I need a little help. We have a large overhead and were wondering a good campground or area to stay near Warsaw. Also, is the water below Truman Dam OK for a Bass Catcher Rig?

Any fishing advice would be great. We are wanting to get out of town and it has been years since we have been up there. We are on meat hunting trip for whites, crappie, etc. However, I know I will just end up bass fishing.

I was up there two weeks ago and put in at the state park? what ever the ramp is right by the dam. Caught lots of crappie right there just down from the ramp on the left, there is a small little mud/sand flat with some brush on it in about 15'. If you do down to the warsaw harbor, there is a big flat across the river from the harbor, troll it for walley and white, try a #5 glass shad rap in a blue or green or a #7 regular shad rap in the same colors. Oh and take MINNOWS!!! Fish for the crappie early, cause the bigger ones bit early and the whites and walleye bit better around noon. Thats from one Willow boy to another.
