Members BMOE Posted June 5, 2006 Members Posted June 5, 2006 The water is back to normal or better, which is good news and the fish look like they are feeding well. Caught a 16",13", and a couple 12" along with the little guys. Total of about a dozen fish caught, as well as missed that many. Missed one that was very big never did see him. Hook pulled free. Cows were in the water off and on at the Dairy farm which made the water murky, but that helped in the fishing.

Brian K. Shaffer Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 So is public access back up at the dairy farm ? I knew the owner closed it off a couple years back.. so you gots to watch yourself around his property lines.. unless you get to know / meet the owner. Otherwise - he has been known to get kind of mad with people wading 'his' water, due to other anglers mistreating the luxury he offers us. I go as far as to check in with him every time I go, even knocking on the screen door one time.. and I pick up all the trash I see in respect around that area by farm. Did you fish the middle or lower areas at all ? The trestle bridge ? Glad to hear an update since I havent been in a while. ( ) Or were you below - and never touched the dairys water itself? nice report - Brian Just once I wish a trout would wink at me! ozarkflyfisher@gmail.com I'm the guy wearing the same Simms longbilled hat for 10 years now.
