War Eagle @ Hwy 412

Has anyone fished War Eagle Creek near it's junction with Hwy 412? Is there an access near by?

I drive past there every week but never have time to stop and check it out. It looks like it might be a nice creek to fish.

If there's no place to access near 412, is there anyplace to access this creek besides Beaver Lake???

I know this is an old post, but I just watch "Exploring Arkansas with Chuck Dovish" , and he did a bit on War Eagle. They do floats from the 412 bridge to the 23 bridge. I drive past the 412 bridge quite a bit, but don't know where the access is. There is a dirt road on the north side, that may lead down to the creek. The 23 access is obvious, there is parking on the west side of 23, over the bridge from 412.

Yes, it is the old highway and bridge so it's actually paved (sort of) and starts right across from the gas station McDonald's etc. right there at the last Huntsville "exit".
