Members Casey Self Posted May 25, 2010 Members Posted May 25, 2010 I know what most of your traditional fly patterns are suppose to resemble, but how about State Park patterns that you don't see at your average fly shop, like John Deere, Thread Jigs, Brassie's stuff like that..anyone know what they are suppose to resemble. I've used Thread jigs with alot of success even on wild trout and I have no idea what the heck it is suppose to be.. I did find this on a white Mini Jig (This color closely resembles the melt of spawning males, which seems to get fish into a feeding mood.) but not sure if that is the same as a white thread jig, flossy, what ever you want to call it. maybe they think its a larva of some sort. Ideas? Merlin Olsen's favorite jig is the Micro Jig....RIP M.O. WWW.TRIBALOUTDOORS.COM Outdoor Clothing & Graphic Design Company
