BolivarBasser Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 I have a question maybe someone could help me with. The wife and I are taking care of our niece for a couple days and wanted to go to the beach at cedar ridge. My question is if I launched at Masters and ran to cedar ridge by water, would there be anywhere (ie. dock, sand beach) that I could tie up or pull ashore for a couple hours at cedar while we swam? I've never been to CR so I don't have any idea. Thanks guys.
Members rookiefisher Posted May 26, 2010 Members Posted May 26, 2010 There are 2 boat ramps at cedar ridge, one is for the campground campers the other is a core ramp, as far as a place to tie up you might have trouble finding a sand or gravel bank to beach your boat,I'm not aware of a courtesy dock or anything. The beach is near the core ramp.
Members Zac Seale Posted May 26, 2010 Members Posted May 26, 2010 There is no dock to leave your boat at, at Cedar Ridge. Most people just anchor south of the beach swimming area on the sand bar and swim. The sand extends about 50 yrds past the beach area and should hurt your hull. Its pretty shallow so getting in and out of your boat shouldn't be to hard.
