Members bassbuster Posted May 26, 2010 Members Posted May 26, 2010 I was wondering if anyone has fished the bridge on 82 where weaubleau runs into the lake. I have not fished there since i was a kid. we had some great days fishing there. It is it still as good as it used to be or have things changed down there. with the water getting muddy will that be a good area since that is where the creek runs in? Thanks for the info.
shaker Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 I haven't been over there since last fall but it is an excellent area. With the lake 16' high you could run quite a ways up the Weaubleau if you wanted to, should be clearing up the creek some I would think.
Chief Grey Bear Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 I was there with my son and my uncle during the youth turkey season this spring. It was my first time fishing there so I can't relate as to how it is now but, we but in the boat and we up past the powerlines. The fist riffle we had to get out to get over was right at the powerlines. We fished on up to the next riffle but didn't go any futher. We caught a lot of good sized White Bass, and some nice river crappie. I was impressed with the area. I am sure we will hit again next year. If the weather is good.
