Members One Trick Pony Posted May 30, 2010 Members Posted May 30, 2010 I've read a bunch of the previous posts about modifying Redfins so they wake better across the surface. One of the most suggested modifications is the take a pair of pliers or an awl and to bend down the line tie. I've done this to several of the baits, but here is my question - do you then tie your line directly to the line tie or do you use a snap or split ring. It would seem to me that if you use a snap or split ring you'd defeat the purpose of bending the line tie. Also, what tends to work better - the jointed Redfins or the straight models? Thanks a bunch for your help!
