Does Anyone Fish This Area?

I have not heard or seen anything on this thread so I guess we all have been fishing elsewhere. I guess I will have to check it out this week. Is it OK to take fish from the Rivers now?

I did some wade fishing this afternoon near the Greene/Polk county line. Caught 7 Largemouth in about two hours. A few on crawdad crankbait, and the rest on 3.5" green tube. Caught one real big one, 18" and fat on a big cut bank. This creek is so dingy all the time, I wish it was more clear like the creeks I grew up around (Beaver, Swan, Big Creek) but oh well, it's here near my house so I'm gonna fish it.

Good river to wade fish in places. I have my eye on a couple places I haven't tried yet to put the kayak or canoe in and paddle and wade. What you were using has always worked for me, too.

I waded a Little Sac tributary today, it was pretty slow for about a mile then I really got into them. I was catching smallies on every cast, probably 25-30 in short order. All released in good shape. It's awesome when you stumble onto a spot like this.

Would the catfish be up in there for limb lines?

Yeah catfish are in the Little Sac for sure. I would think you'd do better from Taylor Bridge down.

I gave some employees of mine directions to Taylor's Bridge. They caught some nice cats off the Bank this past weekend. They said the water was muddy from all the rain. Thought you might want to know.
