New To Ozarkanglers

Hello, Just found the website and the forum. I am a lifelong flyfisher, tier, etc. I fish bamboo most of the time. I have built my second drift boat (http://gallery.me.com/scotthepler#100220) and usually go out west a couple of times a year to fish, sometimes more. I am looking to fish the ozarks more now that my boys are old enough to go, and I need to get the boat wet more often.

I have seen a couple of other wooden boats on this site and other sites, that live in the midwest. We need to get them together and do a wooden boat float.

Look forward to meeting some of you on a stream sometime.

Welcome Scott. There are a few drift boaters here on the site. I believe there is a wooden drift boat rendezvous on the White below Bull Shoals in Sept....I will see if I can dig up the info.
