A few guys asked me before about catching carp on dry flies around George Winter park. NOW IS THAT TIME. I have seen some monster grass carp coming up around bushes were ever seeds/nuts are dropping in the water. Soon as something hits the water a carp will come up and grab it. Been bow fishing two spots were I just throw pieces of dog food in then they come right up. GOOD LUCK

If you go just north of the park and head up stream there is a bunch of brush that is on the left bank under the 2nd bridge, its highway 30. If your on foot it would be easiest to access the river from Fenton park. Good Luck.

Oh ok i know exactly where you are talking about. I saw a bunch of brush in the water and thought it looked good. I think i'll do bank fishing, as there is too much water in it right now to be in my kayak.
