Wheatenheimer
This is a cover of Peter Gabriel's song titled Father Son. I shot this last night on my patio. Sorry the audio is not that great (it's probably better that way!) I sure am thankful for my old man, he taught me to fish and enjoy the wonderful Ozark outdoors among many other things. It kinda took me till adulthood to realize what cool guy he is. Hope all of ya'll have a great Father's Day and I hope you enjoy the video! Thanks for checking it out! Next time we all do a float trip, bring that guitar along and you can provide the entertainment. Just nobody think about bringing a banjo along too. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
FishinCricket
I think I've posted this before, but it does seem fitting on fathers day.. (hope wheat don't mind my piggybacking his thread) associated artwork: http://s781.photobucket.com/albums/yy91/FishinCricket/?action=view¤t=2882a724.jpg&evt=user_media_share I sure am thankful for my old man, he taught me to fish and enjoy the wonderful Ozark outdoors among many other things. It kinda took me till adulthood to realize what cool guy he is. Awe, how sappy.. lol Reminds me of something Sam Clemens supposedly said once: When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years. - attributed by Reader's Digest, Sept. 1937. This quote has been attributed to Mark Twain, but until the attribution can be verified, the quote should not be regarded as authentic. I'm exactly the opposite, oddly enough.. I grew up thinking my father was a God (he did a great job convincing/brainwashing me..).. Now that I am a grown man I realize how strange/abnormal our life was and how horrible I was being trained to be, honestly I'm just glad I made it out in the shape I did.. Fathers day is yet another holiday that I have little use for.. lol SOOOOO... All you good dads out there, LOVE YOUR KIDS AND HAVE A GOOD FATHERS DAY! cricket.c21.com

(hope wheat don't mind my piggybacking his thread) I don't mind at all. I love your version of Cat Stevens. Very nicely done, especially playing your guitar upside down and backwards! Thanks for sharing! And thanks to all of you for the kind words! I hope everyone has a great Father's Day!
