awhuber Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 The lack of a $15 fishing license cost the Citation $912,825, not to mention first place and a spot in the record books in the 52nd annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Fishing Tournament. http://www.havenews.com/sports/record-7228-win-setting.html Oh my that "unlicensed hired mate" better watch his back...
Al Agnew Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Ouch. I nearly forgot to buy my fishing license this year...I was on my way to the river a couple days into March when I suddenly realized (luckily about the time I passed a Walmart) that I hadn't bought it yet, and I have no idea what made me think of it then. It used to be a little easier to remember when you renewed at the beginning of the year. I've nearly forgotten it several times in the last few years.
awhuber Posted June 22, 2010 Author Posted June 22, 2010 I was fishin with a buddy of mine a few weeks ago, on the Current river, who informed me that he had to renew his license in a few weeks. What! " Yeah I bought it in June last year" ARRRRRGGGGG Come on were are headin to the store licenses are due March 1st...."really?"
T-RockJaws Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 I know that not everyone trout fishes, but trout season opens on March 1st. I just try to go by that, easier for me to remember if I think of it along with the opening of trout season.
