Fly Selection For Lir

Hey guys....thanks for all the info you have provided thus far. I have a rod and reel on the way and I was wanting to start gathering some flys to work with. I have heard from Chance on what I should have fishing OK, MO, and AR. I was wondering what I should definately have while fishing the LIR. Types, sizes, colors, best places to purchase and best quality. Thanks again for your help........it's starting to come together...

If you are buying flies, I recommend #16-#20 Black and silver Zebra midges, #14-#16 BeadHead Pheasant Tails, #14-#18 sow bugs (gray and brown), Wooly Buggers (white, black, olive) various sizes, San Juan worms various colors and sizes and #14-#18 soft hackles.

Thank you for the info. I've already started buying some flies from Chances list. How much should I be spending on these flies. I'm green as can be on prices for these dinky flies....LOL. Where do you guys buy? I'm finding some online that fit the descriptions I've been given. We're getting there! LOL
